Our Story
From a university lab to a science-based food brand
Our journey began in a university lab when our CEO, Bilal Qizilbash (B.S. in biology, M.S. in medical sciences), made a breakthrough discovery. He discovered that juiced leafy kale could selectively kill melanoma cancer cells in vitro while leaving non-cancerous cells alone. The breakthrough led to a U.S. patent and continued laboratory studies. This discovery was nothing short of a scientific breakthrough, but it was accompanied by a more significant realization—the potential to positively impact humanity through a simple yet powerful product : Bilal's EasyKale® .
Driven by his desire to help people incorporate nutrient-rich kale into their daily diets effortlessly, Bilal embarked on a path to transform his research findings into a tangible solution. This journey led to the creation of Bilal's EasyKale®, a revolutionary product that makes adding #dailykale to one's diet convenient and enjoyable.

Development
Bilal's research, based on his education in Biology and Medical Sciences, led to the discovery that juiced kale can attack and kill melanoma cells while not affecting non-cancerous cells in a controlled laboratory setting. This breakthrough in cancer research was the impetus behind the development of Bilal's EasyKale®.

Expansion
After testing and consumer feedback, the next step for Bilal's EasyKale® was expansion. MiraKale Labs LLC officially launched Bilal's EasyKale® Kale Shaker in 2019. The product was sold on Amazon and on the EasyKale website, which was well-received, and soon gained a loyal following of health-conscious consumers due to its many benefits and unique tasteless powder form, which made it easy to incorporate into a variety of dishes without altering the taste.

The talented bakers at the bakery took their already amazing creations to a whole new level. Adding a secret ingredient – Bilal's EasyKale® – to their cakes, sweets, and brownies. In 2019, EasyKale Labs executed an MOU for EasyKale cancer research to be continued at Belhaven University, allowing Dr. Brandon and Bilal to continue to collaborate. Rich Sun, a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and co-founder of MCA, was an instrumental figure in Bilal Qizilbash's entrepreneurial journey.
